Buying a Mac
Buying a Mac is generally spoken easier than buying a PC because of the fact that there are fewer options. With so many PC vendors it's not very easy to find the perfect offer.

Everything in one hand
Considering the Mac, there’s only one manufacturer: Apple. Apple does not only sell theirs computers and peripherals. Apple also assembles the Macs you and designs, tests, develops the software that comes with it.
Because of this one-stop-deal you can be sure the Mac you buy is a product running on a stable platform (hardware and software).
N.B. By the way, it is said that Macs never crash. But this is not officially confirmed.

Costs
Be aware Macs are generally more expensive than PCs.

Where to buy
The only places you buy a Mac are an Apple Store, an Apple Centre or other authorized Apple resellers.
Another possibility is buying online from the Apple Store.

Tip!
It’s a good idea to check out the MacRumours Buyer’s Guide to have an idea if the model you want to buy will be updated soon.
