Networking
Mac computers can be connected through networks in many
ways.
Networks
Integrating a Mac into a Mac-network is very easy. Mac OS X
allows you to add Macs to networks that mix Windows, Mac OS
and UNIX computers. Mac OS X 'talks' to most of the popular
file server protocols that are used on today's major server
platforms.
Wired or
wireless
Whether it is Ethernet, Wifi (Airport) or Blue Tooth. Mac
OS X offers standard support.
Bonjour
In addition to the networking facilities as mentioned
before Mac OS offers Bonjour, a networking technology
automatically connecting devices (printers, laptops,
desktops, cameras, etc.) on a network.
More info about Bonjour available on the Apple - Mac OS X
site: Bonjour Networking, simplified
